How Juicing has helped with my PCOS

When i found out i had pcos it was directly after my second miscarriage and then and there i decided to find out whatever i could about healthy living for pcos. I've been Juicing since Christmas and have seen dramatic changes. I've lost weight, my acne cleared and i have more energy. 
I have two recipes i use as a meal replacement for breakfast everyday:

The Kale Yeah Juice:
2 bunches of Kale
1Lime ( i prefer one small lemon)
2 apples ( any variety)
2 pears (any variety)
 sometimes if you want a lot of juice and some added cleanse power add 1 cumcumber
It's very refreshing and reminds of lemonade.


 Second Juice Recipe :


(made it up on my own)
1 Beet
2 carrots
1 apple ( any variety)
1 handful of spinach (sometimes i add it and sometimes i don't)
1 small lemon

It's a sweeter juice but filled with vitamins! Tastes very much like beet juice but with a lemony kick :).

OH and very importantly : Buy organic! because otherwise you'll be getting pesticides and other hormonal imbalancing chemicals in your juice that will not help with your journey fighting PCOS. Organic is very important to women like us, i know it can be pricey, but look at local farmers markets and if you have a Trader Joes near by i'd check out their prices on produce as well, because they are usually lower and sometimes even lower priced then the normal grocery store non-organic produce sometimes :) Another organic food option is to start growing some of your own produce in a garden. Just buy organic seeds and soil and wait for the harvest !
